- Scoring board (optional)
Making the Template

In order to begin making this gift box with lid, you first need your template. Start by downloading our FREE pdf template and load your printer with the paper or card you have chosen and print it out.
In addition to this, you can also print out the template on a separate, plain piece of paper and transfer the markings over.

Scoring vertical lines
Although you can use many tools to score your paper (including your fingers or a store card), many crafters like to use a scoring board. On the whole, this is usually a plastic platform with vertical grooves that allows you to score your paper or card much easier.
