Scoring vertical lines
Although you can use many tools to score your paper (including your fingers or a store card), many crafters like to use a scoring board. On the whole, this is usually a plastic platform with vertical grooves that allows you to score your paper or card much easier. In addition to this, these board will also have measurements across the top and side to aid in ensuring that you are scoring in the correct place. You can purchase a scoring board HERE
Scoring horizontal lines
Scoring diagonal lines
Once you have completed the lines above, it is time to score the diagonal lines near the top of your paper. Unlike the other lines, these diagonal lines will need to be scored on both sides of the paper as this will give an overall better result.
Assembling the box
After this, fold in the bottom of your box and secure. Repeat with the top of your box and you will have your cute, completed DIY milk carton.
On the whole, you can secure the top in many different ways. Although it is easy to glue this tab, this could however, risk damaging your box if you want to keep it. Alternatively, you can use: paper clips, bulldog clips or Small pegs. As well as this, you can also punch several holes through this tab and secure with a ribbon.
